What's so great about stoneware?
Stoneware is a ceramic material fired at high temperatures, making it durable and robust. It is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. In addition to its practical properties, stoneware also offers a unique aesthetic, as it can be glazed in lovely, rich colors that add character and warmth to your table setting.
Where are Norling Studio products produced?
We collaborate with carefully selected factories in Portugal and Turkey, all of which meet our high quality and sustainability standards. All stoneware and porcelain products are manufactured in Portugal, while our Just Glass collection is made in Turkey.
How do I best care for my Norling Studio products?
All our products are dishwasher safe and designed to last. The semi-matte colors can be sensitive to strong dyes if left on the products for a long time (e.g., blueberries). For best results, we recommend washing them immediately after use. If black marks appear on your plates from cutlery, they can usually be polished away with a little white toothpaste and a cloth. To extend the life of the products, we recommend avoiding sudden temperature changes, such as from freezer to oven.
Are all products dishwasher safe?
Yes, all our products are dishwasher safe. Our stoneware and porcelain products are also oven, microwave, and freezer safe, making them both versatile and durable for daily use.
Why do some products differ in color?
Many of our products are handmade, which means each product is unique. Some of our products are hand-painted or hand-dipped, which means pigments can settle differently depending on the shape, thereby creating beautiful color variations.
What does "restaurant quality" actually mean?
Restaurant kitchens place high demands on tableware. Our products are designed to withstand the wear and tear of a restaurant environment, including countless machine washes and use in ovens and microwaves. Our stoneware products are often fired twice at very high temperatures to create durable and robust products suitable for professional use.
Do you offer your products to both restaurants and private individuals?
Our webshop is open to private individuals, and we continuously add new products. Since our main business is producing tableware for restaurants, all our products are of restaurant quality. How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package via DHL's tracking service.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you need to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@norlingstudio.com. We can change or cancel the order if it has not been shipped yet. Unfortunately, once the order has been shipped, we cannot make any changes.
