Hidden behind lush ivy in a charming bungalow in Bandra, you'll find The Lovefools – a restaurant where every meal feels like a secret worth sharing. It's a place for the curious, the romantic, and those who dare to let food speak to all the senses. And amidst all this, Norling Studio's tableware plays a discreet but integral role.
The Lovefools isn't just a talking point – the restaurant has been lauded with several prestigious awards, including an ET Hospitality Grand Jury nomination for Best Luxury Fine Dining and an award for Progressive Global Cuisine in the Times Food & Nightlife Awards. It's a place where culinary art, creativity, and aesthetics meet in perfect harmony – and where every detail matters.
When we were asked to contribute to the table setting, we quickly understood that this was not a place for standard solutions. Together, we selected a well-balanced and inspiring mix of plates, side plates, and bowls in various glazes and materials – where glossy and matte surfaces, stoneware and glass coexist on the tables. The combination creates a table setting that feels vibrant, unexpected, and at the same time, perfectly natural – just like the menu.
Our tableware enhances the experience without dominating it. It allows the food to take center stage, while adding a visual and tactile dimension that makes each serving even more memorable.
