Hidden behind lush ivy in a charming bungalow in Bandra lies The Lovefools – a restaurant where every meal feels like a secret worth sharing. It is a place for the curious, the romantic and those who dare to let food speak to all the senses. And in the midst of it all, Norling Studio’s porcelain plays a discreet but obvious role.
The Lovefools is more than just a snack bar – the restaurant has been hailed with several prestigious awards, including being an ET Hospitality Grand Jury nominee for Best Luxury Fine Dining and awarded for Progressive Global Cuisine in the Times Food & Nightlife Awards. It is a place where cooking, creativity and aesthetics meet in perfect harmony – and where every detail matters.
When we were asked to contribute to the table setting, we quickly understood that this was not a place for standard solutions. Together, we selected a well-balanced and inspiring mix of plates, saucers and bowls in different glazes and materials – where shiny and matte surfaces, stoneware and glass coexist on the tables. The combination creates a table setting that feels alive, unexpected and at the same time self-evident – just like the menu.
Our porcelain enhances the experience without taking over. It lets the food take center stage, but adds a visual and tactile dimension that makes every serving even more memorable. At Norling Studio, we create restaurant porcelain for places where food is more than just food – where every component is part of the story.
